The former manor farm was created on the site of an earlier Knights Templar commandery. The commandery area is located on a small hill, adjacent to the River Myśla to the west, and was surrounded on the other sides by a strip of moorland, which gave it a defensive character. Today, some of the former farm buildings are derelict, only one of which has been renovated and adapted as a restaurant.
