The Lower Oder Valley National Park, part of the International Lower Oder Valley Park, is a national park in Germany established in 1995. Located in the lower course of the Oder River in the north-eastern part of Brandenburg in the districts of Barnim and Uckermark, it covers an area of 10,323 ha and was officially opened on 10 September 1995. On the German side, the national park is surrounded by a 17,774 ha protected landscape area in the Lower Oder Valley National Park region. The national park forms a spatial unit with the neighbouring Lower Oder Valley Landscape Park (approx. 6,000 ha) and the Cedynia Landscape Park (approx. 30,850 ha) and its protection zone. The protected area is also part of the European ecological network Natura 2000. Opening hours: April to October: Monday-Sunday 9 AM - 5 PM. November to March: Friday-Sunday 10 AM - 5 PM. Free entry
