After the end of hostilities in 1945, the village of Różańsko was slowly settled during the summer. The first inhabitants were people returning from the German territories who had been sent to forced labour in Germany during the occupation. These people did not think of setting up a school because they had no children.
In the autumn, families from the eastern territories of Poland and the former USSR arrived, and then there were children and the need to organise a school.
A building that had been used as a grain store at harvest time was allocated for this purpose. After cleaning and renovation, this room was equipped with the necessary equipment. On 5.01.1946 the school was opened as a one-room, four- class school.
