Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture

The Agency for the Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture (ARiMR) was established in 1994 to support the development of agriculture and rural areas. ARiMR was designated by the Government of the Republic of Poland to act as an accredited paying agency. It deals with the implementation of measures co-financed from the European Union budget and provides assistance from national funds. As an executor of agricultural policy, the agency closely cooperates with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. ARiMR is at the same time subject to the supervision of the Ministry of Finance with regard to the management of public funds.
