Nowogródzka Gate

Ceramic brick building, located at the axis of Bohaterów Warszawy Street, dating from the 1st half of the 15th century. The building is set on a quadrilateral plan with a pointed-arched entrance. In architectural terms, the building is rectangular, covered by a hipped roof. Two-storey front and rear elevations. The eastern (rear) with a row of slender crenellations in the second storey, the western (front) with two massive buttresses enclosing the passage, with a row of heavy crenellations above, in which window openings were placed. The building has special historical, architectural and spatial values, which is why it has been entered in the register of historical monuments.
