For the purposes of the mill, the waters of the Kłodawka River were dammed up by the Trzciniec Pond. Below, the Kłodawka falls in a strong waterfall. The difference in level is nearly 5 m. The river flows a few kilometres away from the Karskie Wielkie Lake, flows through the Barlinek-Gorzów Forest, among fish ponds, through Kłodawa, in its last kilometres through the centre of Gorzów Wielkopolski and flows into the Warta River.
