To Modry Las

The trail familiarises you with the centre of Choszczno and the close vicinity of the town. Partly it runs along the Klukom and Żeńsko lakes, partly through agricultural and industrial areas (Smoleń). From afar, pay attention to the tall building of the granary belonging to the “Agrolex” factory, in close proximity take a look at the now defunct railway line. If you wish, at the furthest, south-eastern end, it is worthwhile to deviate about 600 m south-east off the route to take in the enchanting landscapes of the “Modry Las” golf course, considered by many to be the best in Poland. It was designed by Gary Player himself. And you can also look into the mysterious ruins of the chapel by the meadow in Smoleń.
